Riot Games Will Nerf Tejo in Patch 10.09, Is It Time to Switch to Another Agent?

Since its first release, Tejo immediately entered the game meta, becoming the most dominant Agent in the VALORANT Championship Tournament (VCT) as well as in Competitive mode.With a very complete skill set—concuss/stun, drone suppress, as well as rockets and an ultimate that can wipe out opponents on site—many players feel that Tejo is too strong compared to other Agents.

Nerf Tejo in Patch 10.09

Hearing complaints from the community and pro players, Riot Games will finally nerf Tejo.According to Anna Donlon, Head of the VALORANT Studio, Tejo's rocket is considered too strong and difficult to counter.Riot will reduce its rocket fuel, adjusting it to be in line with other Initiator Agents.This change is scheduled to be included in patch 10.09.

Additionally, Riot also confirmed that several other changes will be released throughout the year, with a major update after Champions.Riot plans to discuss further changes in a video in June.
