Dplus Kia New Champion 2024 PMGC

With much drama and intensity, the 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) event has come to an end. The top PUBG MOBILE teams in the world competed fiercely throughout this event, from the Group Stage to the Grand Finals. South Korea's Dplus Kia defeated formidable teams including Alpha7 Esports, DRX, Falcons Force, and Natus Vincere to become the new PMGC 2024 champion.

Their excellence was demonstrated at the Grand Finals, which took place in London, England, from December 6–8, 2024. Despite their subpar performance at first, Dplus Kia recovered to win the global champion trophy and a reward of USD 457,250, beating RC Bra Esports from Turkey by just 1 point on the last map

With 112 points at the end of the competition, Voin Donkey ID took fifth place and won USD 117,750  Given that they are the only debutants and representatives from Southeast Asia in the PMGC Grand Finals, their accomplishment is quite admirable.

The 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) tournament features a total prize pool of USD 3 million (approximately IDR 47.2 billion), with USD 1.58 million contested in the League and USD 1.42 million in the Grand Finals.

The year 2025 will be an exciting year for PUBG MOBILE esports. The PMGC 2025 will be held in Thailand, and the nearest international tournament is the 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) in Uzbekistan in April 2025.
